On 14th February 2026, Fountain Gate Academy brought the community together for a special event at the Fountain Gate Dodoma Arena. The Fountain Gate Family FUN RUN took place, covering the Mlimwa C to Wajenzi area in Dodoma. This event was more than just a race; it was a gathering that promoted health, unity, and social responsibility among families, students, staff, and the wider community. The Fountain Gate Family FUN RUN was organized by Fountain Gate Foundation as a slogan goes " Run for the Needy" The charity collected is aimed to support the needy in our community. The Fountain Gate Foundation Manager Mr. Eliasa Abdalla was available and the Run was a success.
A Run for All Ages
The FUN RUN was designed to include everyone, offering two race categories to suit different age groups and abilities:
2 Kilometers (2KM) for children
5 Kilometers (5KM) for adults
Children ran with excitement and energy, while parents and other adults showed their dedication to staying healthy. The event created a lively and encouraging atmosphere where everyone could participate and support one another. This approach reflects Fountain Gate Academy’s belief that education goes beyond books. It includes developing physical health, discipline, and strong character.
A Message from National Leadership
The event was honored by the presence of Salome Makamba, Deputy Minister for Energy, who attended as the Guest of Honor. Invited by the school leadership, she delivered a powerful speech that connected well with the event’s goals. Her key points included:
