Fountain Gate Academy Annual Meeting Highlights and Future Plans for 2026

The Fountain Gate Academy Tanzania gathered its leadership and key members on December 3, 2025, for the annual meeting held in the Morogoro Region. This important session, organized by the Academy’s President Japhet Makau, brought together representatives from all nine Fountain Gate schools across Tanzania. The focus was clear: reviewing the achievements of 2025 and setting strong, practical plans to improve services for customers in 2026.

Annual Reports from Headteachers


Each headteacher from the nine Fountain Gate schools presented detailed reports on their school’s performance in 2025. These reports covered academic achievements, student enrollment trends, challenges faced, and community engagement efforts. The headteachers also shared projections and goals for 2026, focusing on improving educational quality and expanding access to resources.


The presentations highlighted:


  • Increased student participation in extracurricular activities

  • Improvements in exam pass rates across several schools

  • Initiatives to enhance teacher training and professional development

  • Plans to upgrade school facilities and learning materials


Oversight by the Principal


Mr. Joseph Mjingo, the Principal of Fountain Gate Schools, was present throughout the meeting to monitor the headteachers’ presentations. His role was to ensure consistency in reporting and to provide guidance on best practices. Mr. Mjingo stressed the need for schools to adopt innovative teaching methods and to strengthen community ties to support student success.

Fountain Gate Sports Academy Report


The C.E.O of Fountain Gate Sports Academy, Mr. Calvin Shaban Kheri, delivered his annual report for 2025. He outlined the academy’s achievements in nurturing young athletes and promoting sports as a key part of student development. Mr. Kheri also shared plans to expand training programs and improve sports facilities in 2026, aiming to increase participation and competitive success.

Financial Guidance for Positive Results


Jerry J. Makau, Head of Finance at Fountain Gate Academy Tanzania, provided valuable advice on managing the Institute’s activities efficiently. His guidance focused on budgeting, resource allocation, and financial transparency. Jerry emphasized that careful financial planning is essential to support the Academy’s growth and to deliver quality services to students and their families.

Looking Ahead to 2026


The meeting concluded with a clear vision for 2026. The Academy plans to:
