Celebrating Excellence: Highlights from the Graduation Ceremony at Fountain Gate Morogoro

On October 25th, 2025, Fountain Gate Morogoro Pre and Primary School held its graduation ceremony for pre-unit and Grade 7 students. This was more than just a formal event; it was a lively celebration of hard work, creativity, and community spirit. The guest of honor, Shabani K. Millao, the Executive Director of Kondoa District Council, attended, bringing special significance to the day.

Mr. Yosia Malaki, the headteacher of Fountain Gate Academy Pre and Primary School, hosted the event. He welcomed everyone warmly, setting an encouraging tone for the day. In his inspiring speech, Mr. Joseph Mjingo, the principal of Fountain Gate Schools, emphasized the importance of education in shaping bright futures. He shared that 95% of graduates are expected to enroll in secondary education(Fountain Gates), highlighting the school's commitment to student success.

Notable guests included headteachers from other schools, such as Mr. Martin Ernest from Fountain Gate Secondary Dodoma and Mrs. Ariziki Abasi, headteacher of Fountain Gate Maureen Memorial Pre School. Mr. Kelvin Shabaan Kheri, CEO of Fountain Gate Sports, also attended. He discussed how sports and extracurricular activities can boost physical health and enhance academic performance, noting that students involved in these activities tend to have a 20% higher retention rate in school.


The ceremony showcased innovation right from the start, featuring an impressive science demonstration on the human digestive system. Additionally, there were exciting displays of ICT coding, Scratch, and AI projects, illustrating how students are encouraged to engage with modern learning methods. This blend of education and creativity highlighted the school's commitment to nurturing well-rounded students.

As the pre-unit graduates entered wearing beautiful blue suits and dresses, the excitement was palpable. Their entrance included captivating dancing and singing, drawing cheers from the audience. The celebration featured modern dance performances and comedic dramas that showcased the students' talents.
