Celebrating Excellence and Achievement at Fountain Gate Manyara's First Graduation Ceremony

Today, October 18, 2025, marked a significant milestone for Fountain Gate Manyara Pre & Primary School as it proudly hosted its first pre-unit and Grade 7 graduation ceremony. The day was alive with excitement and joy as we celebrated the hard work, dedication, and bright futures awaiting our students.


The ceremony welcomed our esteemed Guest of Honor, Mr. Shaban Gwandu, Regional Educational Officer from Babati Tanzania, who inspired both students and staff to dream bigger and strive for success in education and character. Mr. Emmanuel Edigius, the headteacher of Fountain Gate Manyara, extended a warm welcome.

Mr. Japhet Makau, the President of Fountain Gate Academy, also played a key role in the event. In his address, Mr. Makau commended the management, teachers, and parents for their continued dedication to nurturing academic and moral excellence among young learners. He emphasized the importance of holistic education in shaping the next generation of leaders and reaffirmed Fountain Gate’s commitment to empowering students through quality learning and character development. He also thanked the parents for the cooperation they have shown in shaping Fountain Gate Manyara pre and primary school.

Mr. Joseph Mjingo, the Principal of Fountain Gate Schools, delivered a powerful speech highlighting the importance of effort and commitment. Esteemed guests like Mr. Jerry Makau, CFO of Fountain Gate Schools, and headmasters from Fountain Gate Secondary and High School in Dodoma added to the significance of the occasion with their presence.

The ceremony kicked off with a vibrant dance performance by the Grade 7 graduates, who captivated the audience in their golden suits and black trousers. Following this was a joyful and colorful dance by the pre-unit graduates, showcasing their creativity and enthusiasm.



One memorable moment was the pre-unit graduates' performance depicting the Constitution of the United Republic of Tanzania from 1977, along with a visual representation of the map of Tanzania. Their heartfelt display earned loud applause, demonstrating the pride our students feel for their country. This inspired not only the parents but everyone in attendance.



As the ceremony continued, each teacher from Fountain Gate Manyara was introduced, and applause filled the room to honor their hard work and dedication in preparing the graduates. The joyous atmosphere peaked as teachers joined the students in dance, celebrating their efforts and achievements.



The event featured a variety of captivating performances, including modern and traditional dances from various classes that displayed a range of talents. For example, one class performed a traditional dance that combined both music and storytelling, highlighting Tanzania's rich cultural heritage.


An ICT demonstration stood out during the ceremony, emphasizing technology's role in education. Students showcased their knowledge of both hardware and software. They engaged the audience with a creative presentation highlighting how technology can transform learning experiences, which is particularly valuable in today's digital world.



A heartfelt tribute from a Grade 7 student honored the Guest of Honor, adding a personal touch to the ceremony. Additionally, the presence of the Fountain Gate FC NBC Premier League team heightened the excitement of the day, as they came to support the graduates and serve as role models for the young attendees. Fountain Gate Football Club is proud to compete in the NBC League Tanzania. The team is dedicated to excellence on the field and strives to foster a strong sense of community and sportsmanship. Join us as we aim for victory and make our mark in Tanzanian football!



The show continued with impressive dramas and a fashion show performed by students, revealing the artistic talents across the school. The pre-unit graduates also engaged the audience with a spelling performance that demonstrated their learning achievements, showcasing their growth over the years.



As the ceremony drew to a close, certificates were distributed by the Guest of Honor, the President, and the Principal, symbolizing the culmination of years spent working hard and learning.



In summary, the first graduation ceremony at Fountain Gate Manyara Pre & Primary School was a tremendous success, brimming with joy, pride, and inspiration. It celebrated the accomplishments of our students and looked forward to their bright futures.
