The momentous occasion was graced by the Guest of Honour, the Dar es Salaam Regional Commissioner, Mr. Albert Chalamila, who joined the institute in recognizing a decade of dedicated service to advancing cardiac care in Tanzania and beyond.
To commemorate this special day, JKCI organized a vibrant charity walk from Green Park Oysterbay to JKCI in Upanga, passing through the iconic Tanzanite Bridge. The walk was not only a symbol of unity and community spirit but also a celebration of the remarkable journey that JKCI has undertaken over the past ten years.

Among the enthusiastic participants were staff and pupils from Fountain Gate Academy, Tabata – Dar es Salaam, who proudly joined hands in support of this noble cause.
Themed “10 Years of JKCI: We Dared, We Achieved, We Move Forward,” the day reflected the institute’s resilience, innovation, and commitment to excellence. It was a celebration of past achievements, a recognition of present efforts, and a vision for an even greater future in healthcare service delivery. The theme served as a reminder that through courage and determination, extraordinary milestones can be reached.

At Fountain Gate Academy, we are proud to be part of this historic celebration. True to our identity as the Fountain of Knowledge, Wisdom, and Talents, we stand in solidarity with JKCI as it continues to transform lives. Registration for the upcoming programs and initiatives is open, and we remain committed to nurturing a generation that values knowledge, health, and community service.

Mr. Karama Allafary who is the headteacher of Fountain Gate Academy pre and primary school Tabata led the charity walk together with his students.
