Today marks the beginning of an exciting journey for the students of Fountain Gate Schools as they set off for an incredible trip to the United Arab Emirates! This study tour, running until June 12, is crafted not just for learning but also to immerse students in the vibrant cultures and experiences that the UAE has to offer.
Fountain Gate Schools have always embraced international exploration as a fundamental part of their educational philosophy. This trip is a testament to their commitment to providing enriching travel experiences, enabling students to learn about the world beyond their home countries in unforgettable ways.
Students have traveled from Dodoma to the Dar es Salaam campus, gathering with peers for this thrilling adventure under the guidance of their senior teachers. Prioritizing safety ensures that students can focus on making lasting memories and gaining knowledge during their travels.
During this remarkable journey, students are set to visit iconic landmarks and attractions the UAE is renowned for. Notable highlights include the breathtaking Burj Khalifa, which is the tallest building in the world at a staggering 828 meters tall. The visit to the stunning Dubai Frame offers a unique view of both the old and new Dubai, acting as a bridge between the city’s historic past and its modern achievements. Ski Dubai provides a different kind of excitement, allowing students to experience skiing indoors in a desert environment, showcasing the innovative spirit of the UAE.
In addition, the trip will take them to the mesmerizing Global Village, where they can explore various cultures and traditions from around the world. With over 90 cultures represented, this lively venue promises to spark curiosity and inspire engaging discussions among students.
The students will also embark on a scenic boat ride at Dubai Creek, experiencing a slice of traditional trading life that has existed for centuries. They will immerse themselves in the local culture, gaining valuable insights into the UAE's rich heritage.
