Fountain Gate Academy Graduation Celebration Highlights 2026
The 2026 graduation ceremony at Fountain Gate Academy, Tabata, Dar es Salaam, brought together proud families, excited learners, school leaders, and guests for a day full of joy, talent, and meaningful achievement.
This special celebration marked the 14th Standard Seven Graduation and the 18th Preschool Graduation at Fountain Gate Academy. It was more than a passing-out ceremony. It was a colourful showcase of learning, confidence, creativity, and the wide range of skills nurtured within the school community.
A warm welcome for guests, parents, and school leaders
The graduation ceremony was honoured by the presence of Mr. Muhumuliza Buberwa, Dar es Salaam CRDB Bank Zonal Manager, who served as the guest of honour. His presence added great value to the celebration and encouraged learners to keep working hard as they move into the next stage of their education.
He was warmly hosted and welcomed by Mr. Japhet Makau, President of Fountain Gate Academy. The welcome was seconded by Mr. Joseph Mjingo, Principal of Fountain Gate Schools, reflecting the unity and strong leadership across the Fountain Gate family. CFO of Fountain Gate Academy was also present Mr. Jerry Makau.
The Headteacher of Fountain Gate Academy Pre and Primary School, Tabata, Mr. Karama Alafary, also welcomed parents and fellow headteachers from different Fountain Gate Schools across Tanzania, including Morogoro, Dodoma, Manyara, and Mwanza.
Their presence showed that this was not only a Tabata celebration. It was a moment shared by the wider Fountain Gate Schools community, with different branches coming together to celebrate learners who had reached an important milestone.
Learners showed what they can do beyond the classroom

Mr. Muhumuliza Buberwa was impressed by the ICT demonstration, especially the way learners presented a practical system instead of only explaining theory. The activity showed that pupils are gaining early exposure to useful technology skills.

Organisations and well-wishers who voluntarily support, promote, and take part in
FGF's work. It is not a job, and it is not a donation drive; it is a way for anyone who
cares about vulnerable children and youth to belong to something bigger and to
help it grow.
Performances brought energy to the ceremony
The entertainment programme added excitement from beginning to end. Learners took part in a wide range of activities, including modern dances, traditional dances, songs, comedy acts, poems, acrobatics, and a fashion show. Scout performance was at its best. Acting about important of trees and soil conservation was amazing.
Each performance gave pupils a chance to build courage and teamwork. Some learners entertained the audience through humour. Others impressed parents with rhythm, movement, and cultural expression. The poems and songs brought a reflective touch to the celebration, while acrobatics added energy and discipline.
The Grade Seven graduands made a memorable entrance wearing smart navy blue suits. Their stage entry was full of excitement, dancing, and confidence. It was a proud moment for parents, teachers, and the whole school community.
