GETS- Girls Empowerment though soccer

Fountain Gate Sports Academy’s Girls Empowerment Through Soccer (GETS) program is a pioneering initiative designed to uplift and empower young girls in Tanzania through sports. Operating in multiple regions, including Dodoma, Morogoro, and Dar es Salaam, GETS combines athletic training with personal development, creating a positive and supportive environment for young girls to excel.

The GETS program focuses on building physical skills, confidence, and leadership abilities through structured soccer training. By engaging young girls in competitive and recreational soccer, the academy aims to cultivate strong, empowered athletes who feel prepared for both sports and life challenges. Recently, the GETS program gained recognition by advancing to the Women’s Premier League for the 2024/25 season, a significant achievement that highlights the program’s impact and the talent fostered within the academy.
